This light is great - perfect for a single purpose hand held combat light. It has one speed - full bore. By the way if your looking for the perfect speed draw holster for this light. Go get yourself a Blade Tech pepper spray belt holster . As luck would have it a can of Fox Pro pepper spray is the same diameter as the bezel of the Fury. The light is not a big time throw machine. it's meant to blast a wall of light on your target - it will easily light up and throw way out past a hundred yards. But it's more of a wide beam than a narrow beam focused to 300 yards. This light is Perfect for what it was designed for. By the way Sure Fire does not list this for a weapon mounted light. my guess is it would not stand up to that. Hand held it's great.
As a side note I ordered one from the same knuckle heads that gave the other reviewer the run around. After three weeks they refunded my money and I bought one from Amazon Prime got here in 2 days.

The best out there. Surefire rocks! Bright is an understatement for this light. Very usefull for on and off duty.

I absolutely LOVE this torch. It is bright as can be, sturdy, and ultra functional for an EDC torch. The only so called con is the price, but not so much I would give it 4 stars instead of 5. Everyone has an opinion but mine is this was worth every penney so I even bought my wife the dual function/lumen Fury model for her EDC.
