I bought this for a more powerful light compared to my ED2 Tatical. It isn't a flash light, it's a spot light. I tested it compared to a 200 lumens light and it is a huge difference. Does it matter. Yes a good bit in self defence. While doing a trial and error on it I had it shined in my eyes at night. Yes a 200 lumenus light wil blind and disorent you. The 500 will really blind you for a while. At 200 It will give you a few seconds to disarm someone poking around your house at night. If your more than a few feet away they will have the chance to regain sight. With the 500 lumenus even at 20 ft away (which is a guess on how far I was from my wife, side note guys your wife enjoys this test too much) you see spots for a while after and takes much longer to recover giving you more time to disarm someone.

I had originally purchased the Fury Dual Output light for home use. I was very happy with the dual output options. Upon further study, I also decided to purchase the Tactical version. I keep this in my vehicle. I feel that the instant on 500 lumen light would be ideal for roadside emergencies and even self defense in certain situations. I could not be happier with this wonderful light.

I received my Surefire P2X fury Tactical today I paid the extra money for next day delivery and it was well worth it thank you Amazon.I couldnt be more impressed
with this piece of tactical equipment its like having a spot light in the palm of your hand the 500 lumens will easily blind and or disorient a would be attacker.
I highly recommend adding this light to your tactical arsenal.
