I've owned many flashlights throughout my life but this one is by far the brightest and sturdiest of them all. A few years ago my roommate convinced me to get a surefire flashlight and ever since then they are the ONLY flashlights I will buy for camping/survival/defense. I recently decided to purchase a defender because my old Surefire was only 200 lumens (still bright by normal standards) as compared with the Fury Defender's 500. Long story short this light was everything I expected it to be...reliable, good for defense (the bevels are extremely sharp and dangerous if you decided to use it as a weapon) and of course... BRIGHT like the sun.

AN EXCEPTIONAL LIGHT. The Defender version may not be for everyone, the strike bezel is a little sharp but one cannot go wrong with any light in the P2X Fury series, it is like holding the sun in your hand. The reflector is perfectly balanced, an ideal sized and insanely bright spot section and a bright and wide enough to fully light a room from the door flood section. Fit and Finish is superb (like anything from surefire) one just knows they are holding quality. My first Surefire is going on 10 or 12 years old and it has been ridden hard and put away wet both on duty and off. It is a lifetime light.

This light is so bright and small! I've had a few Surfire's before this one, but this is by far the brightest one that is small enough to fit in your pocket!
Love the serrated front edges and feel of it in your hand. Very durable and constructed with Surefire's attention to detail.
If you're looking for a light to blind anyone or light up the night, this is your weapon!
